Hope Wells has been involved in the legal system since she was 18 years old. She was a police dispatcher in the same small town in New Mexico where she graduated high school. She continued her career path in law enforcement in the dispatch offices and correctional facility in Tucumcari, New Mexico before heading to Albuquerque where she met and married her husband. There they blended their 2 families to continue their great adventure. For the next 10 years, Hope was an early childhood engineer, calendar manager, chef, housekeeper, chauffeur, bookkeeper and personal shopper! That is the long way of saying that she was given the opportunity to become a stay-at-home mother and homemaker.
After moving to Texas in 2007, and once all of the kids were in high school, she returned to her first love, law. She spent the next 9 years managing law firms, attending the University of Texas (rooting for the Longhorns), raising her family, and obtaining her Paralegal degree with honors. It was once her children had all left the nest that she made the logical leap into real estate. She has been in the real estate field since 2016 and has been privileged to meet and work with some truly wonderful people.
She loves her job for the simple reason that she makes it her mission to honorably assist the people she works with in their quest to find the right property or the right buyer (sometimes both!). She works hard to present a clear picture of the market to her clients so that they can come to an informed decision about the property they are looking to purchase or the property they are working to sell. She believes real estate agents should provide excellent service that goes beyond putting a sign in the yard and adding the listing to the Multiple Listing Service, or showing buyers three homes and telling them they need to pick one. Hope is of the opinion that purchasing or selling a home will be one of the biggest decisions a person or a family can make, it is imperative that the agent assisting them has their best interests in mind.
